KVIC hiring for 50 posts, no exam, salary up to Rs 40,000
KVIC is filling 50 contract posts through shortlisting and interviews alone, with applications open till September 30, 2026.
The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), which functions under the Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, has invited applications for 50 contract posts, including Young Professionals, Consultants and Senior Consultants. It is an opportunity for graduates and experienced candidates. Eligible candidates can apply online through KVIC's official website.
There will be no written examination for this recruitment. Candidates will be selected through a shortlist based on their educational qualifications, followed by a personal interview and verification of original documents. Those with the right educational qualifications and relevant field experience will get a chance to work at the central commission directly through an interview.
Of the 50 posts, 20 are reserved for Young Professionals, while 30 are for senior positions such as Consultant and Senior Consultant. Among the 20 Young Professional posts, 5 are in the Accounts/Audit department, 4 in HR and Administration, 3 in the Khadi department, 3 in Legal, 2 in Publicity, and one each in Marketing, Design and Drawing, and Science and Technology departments.
Among the 15 Consultant posts, 3 are for Accounts and Audit, 3 for the Khadi Raw Material department, 2 for HR and Administration, 2 for the Khadi department, 2 for Legal, and one each for Property and Services, Marketing and Memorial departments. Among the 15 Senior Consultant posts, 3 are for Accounts and Audit, 2 for Property and Services, 2 for Khadi Raw Material, 2 for HR and Administration, 2 for the Khadi department, and one each for Legal, Marketing, Memorial and Science and Technology departments.
Candidates applying for these posts must hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant subject from a recognised university or institution in the country, along with at least 5 years of professional experience in the relevant field. Candidates should check the exact experience required for each post in the official advertisement.
The maximum age for candidates applying for the Young Professional post is 27 years, calculated as on October 1, 2026. Candidates below 39 years of age are eligible for the Senior Consultant post. The age limit for the Consultant post is between 40 and 65 years. Candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/persons with disabilities) will get age relaxation as per central government rules.
Selected Young Professionals and Senior Consultants will get a monthly honorarium of Rs 25,000 to Rs 40,000 depending on the post, along with other facilities and allowances as per rules. The salary for the Consultant post will be decided as per the rules and guidelines of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
