Jui Gadkari slams fake AI wedding video, warns YouTube channel of legal action
Actress Jui Gadkari called out an AI-generated video that falsely claimed she was marrying a famous actor's son, and threatened court action
Fake videos and AI generated photos and videos have become common on social media, and several entertainment industry figures have fallen victim to them. False claims about celebrities, AI generated photos, body shaming and fabricated news about their personal lives are regularly spread on social media, with false reports of illness or death sometimes going viral.
A few days ago, actor Siddharth Jadhav faced a similar issue, when he shared a video and expressed his anger in strong words. Now something similar has happened with Jui Gadkari, the well known actress from Malikain.
Jui Gadkari expressed her anger over a video on her social media story. She said a YouTube channel had spread false information about her wedding. The video claimed that Jui was going to marry the son of a famous actor. In her post, Jui clarified that the video was entirely AI generated.
Jui shared the link to the video on her social media story and warned that it should be removed immediately. She said clearly that if the video was not deleted, she would take legal action.
Jui wrote, "Whoever you are, please focus on your own work. Are you not ashamed of making such pointless videos for likes and views? You do not even know how to make AI properly. The language is wrong too, everything about it is wrong."
She further wrote, "If this video is not deleted today, we will meet in court soon. This is a request. Please everyone report this channel and report this video too."
After Jui Gadkari's public anger, the fake video has now been removed from YouTube. It is no longer available there following her demand.
Claims made on social media about celebrities' personal lives without solid verification often lead to misunderstandings. The stand Jui took against this video has brought the matter into wider discussion.
