IBPS invites applications for three posts, last date November 12

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced recruitment for candidates seeking jobs in the banking sector. The notification for 'IBPS Recruitment 2026' has been issued. The vacancies are for Server Administrator Grade D, Assistant Grade B and Programming Assistant Grade B. Interested candidates can apply from October 29 to November 12, 2026.

Educational requirements differ by post. Candidates must hold the required degree from a recognised university or institution. For Server Administrator Grade D, a BE or BTech in electronics, computer science or information technology, or an equivalent qualification, is required.

For Assistant Grade B, a bachelor's degree from any recognised university with at least 60 per cent aggregate marks is required. The degree should preferably be in science, commerce, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer applications, IT, data analytics, business administration or management. Advanced MS Excel skills are also required for this post.

For Programming Assistant Grade B, a full-time BSc IT, BCA, BSc, computer science or equivalent qualification is required. An engineering degree in computer science or IT is also accepted. Experience is mandatory in this recruitment. Applicants for Server Administrator must have at least three years of relevant experience, while applicants for Assistant and Programming Assistant must have at least two years.

Age will be calculated as on October 1, 2026. Candidates must meet the IBPS age limit for the post they apply for. For Server Administrator Grade D, the minimum age is 25 years and the maximum 33. For Assistant Grade B, the minimum is 23 and the maximum 30. The same limit, 23 to 30 years, applies to Programming Assistant Grade B.

The application fee is Rs 250, payable online. The fee of Rs 250 applies to candidates of all categories.

On salary, Server Administrator Grade D will carry a basic pay of Rs 35,400 a month. The initial gross salary will be about Rs 73,020, and the approximate cost to company (CTC) will be Rs 14.09 lakh. Programming Assistant Grade B and Assistant Grade B will carry a basic pay of Rs 25,500 a month. The initial gross salary for these posts will be about Rs 54,210 and the approximate CTC Rs 10.57 lakh.

Selection will be in several stages: screening of applications, shortlisting, document verification, an online written examination and a personal interview. Candidates who sit the written examination will be called for the interview. Final selection will follow document verification.

They should click 'New Registration' and register, then log in to the form and fill in personal and educational details. After that, they must upload the required documents, thumb impression and a handwritten declaration.

Candidates should check all the information carefully before final submission. They should then click 'Complete Registration' and pay the Rs 250 fee online. Finally, they should submit the application and download the payment receipt.
