Google raises Pixel 10a price by Rs 6,000 in India, phone now costs Rs 55,999
Google has increased the price of the Pixel 10a smartphone in India and globally, reportedly because of a shortage of RAM and storage.

Google has raised the price of its Pixel 10a smartphone in the global and Indian markets. The phone was launched earlier this year.
In India, the Pixel 10a was launched in February at Rs 49,999. The company has now raised the price by Rs 6,000, meaning buyers will have to pay Rs 55,999. The phone is also listed at Rs 55,999 on Google's India store.
The price has not gone up only in India. The Pixel 10a has also been made costlier in the United States and other countries. The increase is reportedly due to a shortage of RAM and storage.
On the features, the Pixel 10a runs on Android 16. It has a 6.3-inch (1,080x2,424 pixels) Actua (pOLED) display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, and the phone was launched with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
The phone is powered by the Tensor G4 chipset and the Titan M2 security co-processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and has an IP68 rating.
The phone has a dual rear camera setup. The primary camera is a 48-megapixel (f/1.7) unit with a 25mm focal length and a 1/2.0-inch sensor, and it supports optical image stabilisation. Alongside is a 13-megapixel (f/2.2) ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view and a 1/3.1-inch sensor.
For selfies, the phone has a 13-megapixel (f/2.2) front camera. The battery is 5,100mAh and supports 30W wired and 10W wireless charging.
