Gold prices in India fell on October 4 compared with October 3, while silver edged up. Per gram, 24-carat gold is Rs 14,918, 22-carat gold is Rs 13,675 and 18-carat gold is Rs 11,189.
Per 10 grams, 22-carat gold is Rs 1,36,750 on October 4. The 24-carat price is Rs 1,49,180 and the 18-carat price is Rs 1,11,890.
On October 3, 24-carat gold was Rs 15,029 per gram, 22-carat Rs 13,776 and 18-carat Rs 11,272. Per 10 grams, 22-carat was Rs 1,37,760, 24-carat Rs 1,50,290 and 18-carat Rs 1,12,720.
Silver is Rs 235 per gram and Rs 2,35,000 per kg on October 4. On October 3 it was Rs 234.90 per gram and Rs 2,34,900 per kg.
In Mumbai, gold per 10 grams is Rs 1,36,750 for 22-carat, Rs 1,49,180 for 24-carat and Rs 1,11,890 for 18-carat. Pune has the same rates. In Nagpur, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Kerala, the 22-carat rate is Rs 1,36,750, the 24-carat rate Rs 1,49,180 and the 18-carat rate Rs 1,11,890.
In Chennai, 22-carat gold is Rs 1,36,750 and 24-carat is Rs 1,49,180, but 18-carat is Rs 1,12,350.
In Nashik, gold per 10 grams is Rs 1,36,780 for 22-carat, Rs 1,49,210 for 24-carat and Rs 1,11,920 for 18-carat. In Surat, 22-carat is Rs 1,36,800, 24-carat Rs 1,49,230 and 18-carat Rs 1,11,940.
Rates are highest in Delhi, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Jaipur, where gold per 10 grams is Rs 1,36,900 for 22-carat, Rs 1,49,330 for 24-carat and Rs 1,12,040 for 18-carat.
