A programme to distribute free spectacles was held in Tadali and Morwa villages of Chandrapur district. Dhariwal Infrastructure Limited and Pahel Multipurpose Society, Chandrapur, jointly organised an eye check-up camp. Those who were examined were given spectacles.

The organisers said the programme was held in Tadali on October 9, 2026, and in Morwa on October 15, 2026. Villagers in both places took part enthusiastically and responded strongly, they said.

According to the organisers, the programme began from the vision of Devesh Kumar, general manager of Dhariwal Infrastructure Limited. Its aim is stated to be looking after the health of villagers and bringing a positive change to their lives.

The organisers said eyesight is a basic need of everyday life and that eye problems cause people many difficulties. With this in mind, spectacles were distributed to those whose eyes were examined. They said the initiative was important in ensuring that health services are not limited to treatment but reach villagers.

Dr Anish Nair, chief administrator of Dhariwal Infrastructure Limited, was present at the programme. Morwa sarpanch Sneha Sav, Tadali deputy sarpanch Nikhilesh Chamre and Pratik Wankhede also took part.

The organisers said the active participation of villagers and their strong response gave the programme special significance. According to them, the organisation's effort to put villagers' health needs first and improve their living conditions reflects its sense of social responsibility.

The organisers described the initiative as a step taken in the spirit of "health services must reach everyone for the creation of a healthy society". They said it was a good step towards promoting health in villages.
