From the Oben Rorr Evo to the Odysse Evoqis, here are five electric bikes available in India within a Rs 1.5 lakh budget.

The electric bike option, once limited to saving on petrol, has now reached a different stage in India. Customers are increasingly drawn to bikes offering good range at low cost, strong performance, connectivity and modern features. Various options are currently available in the market within a budget of Rs 1.5 lakh.

The first option is the Oben Rorr Evo. This bike, with an aggressive streetfighter design, is fitted with a 9 kW peak power motor. According to the company's claims, this bike delivers 250 Nm of wheel torque, goes from 0 to 40 kmph in just 3 seconds, and has a top speed of 110 kmph. It offers four riding modes: Smart IQ, Eco, City and Havoc. Its 3.4 kWh LFP battery is claimed to deliver a real-world range of up to 150 km. The ex-showroom price of this bike is Rs 1.25 lakh.

A bike focused on everyday use is the Revolt RVX. This bike claims an IDC range of 160 km and a top speed of 90 kmph. It features a removable battery, dual-gear motor, USD front fork, monoshock and dual disc brakes. Fast charging from 0 to 80 percent takes about 80 minutes, and the battery carries a warranty of 8 years or 80,000 km. The ex-showroom price of this bike is Rs 1.30 lakh.

The Ola Roadster X+ is offered with two battery options, 4.5 kWh and 9.1 kWh. The 9.1 kWh version claims an IDC range of up to 500 km, with an 11 kW motor and a top speed of 125 kmph. Along with Eco, Normal and Sport modes, this bike offers cruise control, parking assist, regenerative braking and OTA updates.

The Avon EX1 is fitted with a 3.24 kWh battery and claims a range of up to 160 km with a top speed of 100 kmph. It comes with connected features such as a digital cockpit, navigation, battery health, vehicle diagnostics and security alerts. The ex-showroom price of this bike is Rs 1.25 lakh.

The last option on the list is the Odysse Evoqis. Along with a sporty design, this bike offers LED lighting, a digital console and keyless start. Its compact size and electric powertrain make it an option presented specifically for urban use. The ex-showroom price of this bike is Rs 1.18 lakh.
