Fadnavis launches Mukhyamantri Samruddha Panchayat Raj Abhiyan 2.0 in Nashik, awards winners
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis launched the 2026-27 edition of the campaign in Nashik and presented awards for 2025-26 to the best zilla parishads, panchayat samitis and gram panchayats.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis launched the "Mukhyamantri Samruddha Panchayat Raj Abhiyan 2.0" in Nashik. At the same event, the awards for the 2025-26 campaign were presented and the campaign was launched for 2026-27. The event was organised by the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department and held at the Youth Festival ground.
Events titled "Mukhyamantri Samruddha Panchayat Raj Abhiyan: Mahakumbh of Elected Representatives" and "Sarpanch Samvad: Defeating Drought and the Resolve for a Prosperous Village" were also held in the presence of the Chief Minister.
Under the 2025-26 campaign, office-bearers of the best-performing zilla parishads, panchayat samitis and gram panchayats were felicitated by Fadnavis. In the zilla parishad category, Nashik, Pune and Sangli received the first, second and third prizes respectively. In the panchayat samiti category, Nashik, Khalapur (Raigad district) and Rahata (Ahilyanagar district) received the first, second and third prizes respectively.
Among gram panchayats, Adachiwadi (Purandar taluka) in Pune district won the first prize. The second prize was shared by two gram panchayats: Khamshet (Guhagar taluka, Ratnagiri district) and Ladud (Baglan taluka, Nashik district). The third prize was also shared by two: Uti Bu. (Ausa taluka, Latur district) and Kotwalbardi (Nagpur district). Office-bearers of these gram panchayats were also felicitated.
Legislative Council Chairman Prof. Ram Shinde, Guardian Minister Girish Mahajan, School Education Minister Dadaji Bhuse, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Jaykumar Gore and Food and Drug Administration Minister Narhari Zirwal were present. MLA Gokul Gite also attended.
Also present were Prof. Devyani Pharande, Dilip Bankar, Dr Rahul Aher, Adv. Rahul Dhikle, Hiraman Khoskar, Dilip Borse, Saroj Ahire, Nitin Pawar, Vivek Kolhe, Deputy Mayor Vilas Shinde, YASHADA Deputy Director Mallinath Kalshetti, District Collector Ayush Prasad, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Omkar Pawar and Additional Chief Executive Officer Pratibha Sangamnere. Sarpanches, elected representatives and Rural Development Department officials from different parts of the state, along with a large number of citizens, took part in the event.
