Responding to criticism from stage, Diljit Dosanjh said he loves everyone; Cockroach Janta Party's Abhijeet Deepke wrote that he remains a fan.

Singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh held the crowd at his Delhi concert on the evening of October 30. Through his "Aura India Tour 2026", he has entertained lakhs of fans. The Delhi show was held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, where more than 70,000 fans were present. During the show, Dosanjh also responded to the comments being made about him. He spoke about the agitations being held against the CJP and the questions raised over the film "Sutlej".

The matter relates to the protest over the NEET paper leak. Dosanjh had earlier said he was an artist and should therefore be kept out of the matter. He faced considerable criticism after the statement. Abhijeet Deepke of the Cockroach Janta Party had also targeted him.

Now, from the concert stage, Dosanjh replied directly to the CJP. He said, "I am an artist, so I love all of you. If I am quiet, let me stay quiet. I support all of you, but don't teach Punjabis how to fight." In a clip that went viral on social media, these words are also heard: "Punjabion ko naa sikhaao kaise ladayiaan ladi jaati hain." Earlier, he had said, "I'm an artist, bro. Keep me away from protests."

Dosanjh went on to say that the film being mocked on stage, the film on Jaswant Singh Khalra, was one for which they had fought for a very long time. He said he loves everyone, that it does not matter if someone hates him, and that his love for everyone will remain.

Dosanjh's remarks reached Deepke, who responded. Deepke wrote, "Paaji, in June when we were protesting, you said something and it hurt me a little. I had no personal anger towards you. As you yourself said, I have always seen you as a person who raises his voice on important issues."

Deepke continued, "To be honest, I have always been your fan and still am. I still listen to your songs. Before returning to India in May this year, I had attended your concert in Chicago. I have always had great respect for you, not only because of the songs but also as a person."

Praising Dosanjh, Deepke said he had always admired his outspokenness, his commitment to his cause and his resolve to take India to the world stage while staying rooted. He wrote, "Perhaps that is why your words stung me a little at that time, because I have always held you in high regard."

At the end of his message, Deepke wrote that a difference of opinion or misunderstanding on one matter had not reduced his respect and affection for Dosanjh. For everything else, he said, Dosanjh should consider him a younger brother, Paaji.
