Cobra found hiding behind fridge in Nagpur flat kitchen rescued and released in forest
A snake rescuer caught a cobra hiding near the fridge compressor in a Wanadongri flat in Nagpur's Hingna area and released it in a forest.
Panic spread at Ashtavinayak Empire in Wanadongri, in Nagpur's Hingna area, when a venomous snake was spotted in the kitchen of a flat. A family member who went into the kitchen for a drink of water saw the snake and was left shaken. On being informed, a snake rescuer reached the spot and caught the snake safely.
According to information available, Sarfaraz Shaikh lives with his family in flat number 201 on the second floor of Ashtavinayak Empire. On Tuesday morning at about 10:30, before leaving for work, Sarfaraz went into the kitchen to drink water. He noticed the snake there, and fear quickly spread through the family.
Sarfaraz promptly informed snake rescuer Akash Meshram. On receiving the call, Akash reached the spot and began searching the kitchen. The search showed that the snake was hiding behind the fridge, in the compressor area.
The rescuer carefully drew the snake out and caught it. The snake has been identified as a cobra. After it was caught, it was taken to a safe place and released in the forest.
The family breathed a sigh of relief after the snake was caught unharmed and released. The fear that had gripped the household ended once the rescuer arrived and removed the snake.
