Author Chetan Bhagat released Dr Rajneesh Kant's book "Chiropractor & Physiotherapist" at a function in Mumbai. The book is published by TS Publication. It introduces chiropractic care, its background and clinical practice, and explains the basics of starting a chiropractic clinic.

Dr Kant also gave a live demonstration on stage at the event, adjusting Bhagat's wrist. After the demonstration, Bhagat said he felt considerable relief and praised Dr Kant's technique.

The occasion was special for Dr Kant. Speaking of his liking for Bhagat, he said, "I have been reading Chetan Bhagat's novels since childhood and watching films made from his stories. I consider it my good fortune to share the stage with him today and to have my book released by him."

Referring to the well-known message of 3 Idiots, that a person should do what they truly love, Dr Kant said, "I am happy that I am doing what my heart wants. Following my passion and earning recognition not only in India but also abroad gives me great satisfaction."

Dr Kant said, "A pain-free India is not just my dream, it is the resolve of all of us." He believes that greater awareness and understanding of chiropractic care can help people make better decisions about the health of their muscles and bones.

The book explains what chiropractic care involves, when it can be tried, how practitioners examine patients, what basic qualifications are needed for it, and the practical aspects of running a clinic. The aim of the first edition is to present the subject in simple language, while a forthcoming book is expected to discuss Dr Kant's own techniques in more detail. The book also mentions RKM, or Rajneesh Kant Method, which Dr Kant describes as an advanced approach developed during his practice.

Dr Kant also offers his views on the historical roots of hands-on treatment in India. Drawing on the story of Lord Krishna correcting Kubja's posture, he sees a link between traditional Indian narratives and the idea of physical correction through hand techniques.

These interpretations are Dr Kant's own view of the subject. According to the recorded history of modern chiropractic, the profession's development is linked to Daniel David Palmer of the United States, who performed a chiropractic adjustment in 1895 and founded the Palmer School and Cure in 1897.

The book has ten chapters. They cover the foundations of chiropractic care, clinical examination, care of athletes and active people, considerations for the elderly, spinal health, common myths and misconceptions, patient education and self-care, the RKM method, clinic management, and collaboration for better treatment. Dr Kant hopes the book will make information about chiropractic easily accessible to readers and to those wishing to enter the profession.

Explaining the thinking behind his work, Dr Kant said, "I don't just treat pain; I want people to stop living with pain."

Transgender spiritual leader and Jagatguru Mahamandaleshwar Himangi Sakhi was present at the launch. Well-known physiotherapist Professor Dr Ali Irani also gave his blessings, which made the occasion special for Dr Kant and his team.
