Students eligible for BSc Nursing admission in Maharashtra for 2026-27 must complete online registration by November 6 and fee payment and document submission by November 7.
Students planning to seek admission to BSc Nursing in Maharashtra for the 2026-27 academic year must complete online registration and the 'Session Apply' process by November 6, if they are eligible under the new nursing admission rules. The State Common Entrance Test Cell has issued a notice on the matter.
Abeda P. Inamdar, president of the Maharashtra Medical Education and Research Centre, has appealed to students not to wait for the last date and to complete all admission steps on time.
The Abeda P. Inamdar Nursing College on the Azam Campus in Pune has offered students and parents guidance on the admission process. Inamdar said no student should lose a chance merely because a deadline was missed. According to her, behind every application lies a student's dream and a family's effort, so the entire form process should be completed on time.
According to Notice No. 5 of the State Common Entrance Test Cell, students have to complete three key steps.
First, online registration: registration and the 'Session Apply' process must be completed by 11.59 pm on November 6.
Second, registration fee: the fee must be paid through the authorised online payment facility by 5 pm on November 7.
Third, document upload: colour scanned copies of the required original documents must be uploaded and the 'Submit' button clicked by 11.59 pm on November 7.
Uploading documents alone is not enough; the form must also be submitted in its final form. If the required documents are not submitted, the application may not be considered under the relevant category, or may even be cancelled.
For the second institute-level round of admissions, eligible students must apply at the respective college in the prescribed format between November 8 and 10. The last date for submitting applications is 5.30 pm on November 10. Students should note that online registration alone does not confirm admission.
Students who were allotted a seat for admission at 5.30 pm on October 27, and those who have taken admission in the first institute-level round, will not be able to take part in the second round.
Students have also been urged to find out about scholarship options so that no student stays away from nursing studies for lack of money. Inamdar made it clear that the college will give every possible help to eligible and hard-working students in finding the right scholarship and completing the application process.
For more information on the admission process, courses and scholarships, students and parents can contact the Abeda P. Inamdar Nursing College on 74474 42103 or visit the website apinursing.org.
