Shailesh Patil, a dismissed police employee, is accused in the Bhiwandi gang rape case, and now, against the backdrop of this case, his own mother Sulochana Patil has made grave allegations against her son.

Sulochana Patil said her son Shailesh Patil has been troubling her greatly for several years. According to her, Shailesh grabbed her property and cash worth crores of rupees, leaving her homeless. Sulochana Patil said she is currently living at her daughter's house. She also said Shailesh Patil beat her several times over this.

Sulochana Patil said she filed a complaint against Shailesh Patil at a police station, but has not got justice in the matter so far, according to her.

Speaking about the Bhiwandi case, Sulochana Patil made even more serious allegations against Shailesh Patil. According to her, Shailesh had earlier done similar things with several girls, threatening them with a gun. Sulochana Patil also claimed that Shailesh had once taken the blame for a crime himself to save an IPS officer, and had served jail time for it. According to Sulochana Patil, after coming out of jail, Shailesh's behaviour changed further and he turned to crime, she alleged.

Dismissed police employee Shailesh Patil is an accused in the Bhiwandi gang rape case along with former MLA Narendra Pawar.

The final bail hearing for former MLA Narendra Pawar took place in the Bhiwandi court, where there was a sharp argument between the defence and the public prosecutor. The court has reserved its verdict in the matter, and the next hearing will be on September 28, it is learnt. Earlier, the court had rejected the anticipatory bail applications of Narendra Pawar and Shailesh Patil.
