Bajaj Auto is preparing a major update to its popular Pulsar series. The company will launch new 2026 models of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar N250 around Diwali. Bajaj Auto marketing head Sumeet Narang has confirmed the launch. The new Pulsar NS200 and N250 will get design changes along with several premium features.

The biggest highlight of the new bikes is a 5-inch TFT colour digital display. The screen can connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, allowing riders to use Google Maps mirroring navigation on the screen. There is also a storage feature to digitally save documents such as the RC book, insurance papers and driving licence. Music controls and premium switchgear are also provided on the handlebar.

The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 also gets an important change to its suspension. The bike gets WP Apex USD suspension forks from WP Performance Systems, the same premium suspension technology used on KTM and Husqvarna bikes. The update is expected to improve the Pulsar NS200's ride quality and cornering stability. It will also get adjustable levers that riders can set according to their preference.

The new Pulsar models come with four riding modes: Rain, Sport, Road and Off Road. The mode can be changed depending on road conditions and riding needs. For those who prefer sporty riding, a lap timer is another special feature, allowing lap time and speed to be tracked while riding on a track. Hazard lights and engine start-stop controls are also provided on the right handlebar.

Despite so many new features and hardware updates, the company has not made any major change to the engine. The Pulsar NS200 has a 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, while the Pulsar N250 has a 249cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine. The Pulsar N250's engine generates 24.2 bhp of power and 21.5 Nm of torque with a 5-speed gearbox. In terms of mileage, the NS200 can deliver around 35 to 40 kmpl, while the N250 can deliver around 32 to 36 kmpl.

Bajaj will announce the official price of the 2026 Pulsar NS200 and N250 at the time of launch. The bikes are likely to hit the market before Diwali. Bookings are reported to begin initially at authorised Bajaj showrooms in Tamil Nadu. With features such as the new TFT screen, Google Maps navigation, four riding modes, WP Apex USD suspension and a lap timer, the new Pulsar NS200 and N250 models have drawn customer attention.
