Bageshwar Dham seer told devotee a son was due, fourth child a girl again
A Jhansi devotee had a fourth daughter after Dhirendra Krishna Shastri predicted a son, and an anti-superstition group is now offering him a challenge over it.
Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the head of Bageshwar Dham and a well-known religious storyteller, is embroiled in controversy again. A devotee from Uttar Pradesh has alleged that he decided to have another child ten years after his last one, trusting a written note from Shastri, but had a fourth daughter instead of a son. The devotee says he was cheated as a result. He has taken the matter to the Akhil Bharatiya Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti (a committee that works against superstition).
