A strange wedding that stirred social media a few days ago has taken a new and dramatic turn. The woman blogger herself has now made a major disclosure about the engagement and haldi videos with a 75-year-old man in Uttar Pradesh's Auraiya district that went viral.
Blogger Rina Rajput claims that all the videos made with Ramsagar were a staged act created only for likes and views. She said plainly that she is, in fact, already married to someone else.
The matter concerns Ariyari village in Auraiya district. The alleged romance and engagement between Ramsagar, 75, who lives there, and Rina Rajput had spread across social media like wildfire. It was said that Rina visited Ramsagar's home repeatedly, that the two grew close as a result, and that they decided to marry. Ramsagar's daughter Radha had also made some claims in the matter.
Rina has now rejected all these claims in a series of disclosures. She says the whole episode was shot in a scripted manner to make videos for social media. She admitted this herself.
Sharing several videos on Instagram, Rina said that after the wedding videos with Ramsagar went viral, her real husband suddenly returned home. This, she said, stirred up her married life again and heated the atmosphere at home.
Speaking on the subject, Rina asked directly, "I have small children and my own husband, so how can I marry a 75-year-old man?" She explained that she had only done what she was asked to do, according to the script of the video.
After the controversy, Rina has also posted some new videos with her real husband on her social media handles. In them the two are seen lovingly garlanding each other, and a young man is seen filling sindoor in her hair parting. Through this she has tried to show that her married life is now back on track.
Meanwhile, the talk everywhere is that the stunt, done to gain publicity and followers on social media, has now backfired on her.
