Transline Technologies Limited, a company providing artificial intelligence (AI) based surveillance, biometric identity management and IT infrastructure solutions, is preparing to bring an IPO. The company received regulatory observations from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on January 22, 2026, and investors are now watching the IPO.

The proposed IPO is an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 1.62 crore equity shares by existing shareholders. It has no fresh issue component, so no new capital will come directly to the company. The benefit will go to the existing shareholders selling the shares.

The company's equity shares are proposed to be listed on both BSE and the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited will be the book running lead manager for the IPO, and Bigshare Services Private Limited will act as registrar.

According to available information, the price band, the dates on which the subscription opens and closes, and the lot size have not yet been announced. Investors will have to wait for the next official announcement on these.

Transline Technologies was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in New Delhi. It works mainly in four areas: video surveillance solutions, biometric and identity management, IT infrastructure solutions and technology-based services.

The company provides technology services to government departments, public sector undertakings (PSUs) and large industries. Its work spans sectors such as railways, smart cities, oil and gas, and information technology. Its business includes project-based system integration contracts, along with regular income from annual maintenance agreements, software subscriptions and managed services. Understanding the pattern of the company's revenue could therefore be important for investors.

The company has built some of its own software products. These include StorePulse for AI-based video analytics, CamStore for video compression and storage optimisation, and CheckCam for monitoring the functioning of CCTV networks. With demand rising for AI-based monitoring, digital infrastructure and enterprise technology solutions, this business could prove significant. Still, assessing future performance requires a close look at the company's financial results, profit, debt, cash flow and order book.

Transline Technologies has more than two decades of experience in the technology sector. Its presence in government and institutional projects, its varied services and its sources of regular income are important aspects of its business. Even so, the fact that the company has received SEBI observations alone does not mean the IPO will be attractive or profitable. The IPO price, the company's valuation, financial condition, risks and growth potential need to be examined.

Once the price band, subscription dates and lot size are disclosed, investors will have a clearer picture. Until then, it would be advisable to check the company's official IPO documents and financial details before deciding to invest.
