Demand for stylish roadster bikes suited to daily use is growing in the Indian bike market. Two models in this segment are currently drawing attention: the 2026 TVS Ronin and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. TVS has introduced a new Base variant of the Ronin and added some features and new colours to the mid and top variants as well, giving buyers more options than before.

On price, the 2026 TVS Ronin's ex-showroom price starts at Rs 1.42 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.64 lakh for the top variant. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350's ex-showroom price starts at around Rs 1.38 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.71 lakh for the top variant. This means the Hunter 350 is slightly cheaper in the base variant, but more expensive than the Ronin in the top variant.

On design and features, the 2026 Hunter 350 gets updates including an LED headlamp, a digital-analog cluster with Tripper Pod, and a Type-C charging port. The company has also made changes to the seat and suspension to improve comfort for daily use.

The TVS Ronin also comes loaded with modern features, including traction control, a Type-C charger, a premium seat, dual-channel ABS and a connected instrument cluster. It also gets 17-inch alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, an assist and slipper clutch, and fully LED lighting, making it a modern package on the features front.

On the engine front, the two bikes differ significantly. The TVS Ronin gets a 225.9cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that produces 20.4 PS of power and 19.93 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The Hunter 350, on the other hand, gets a 349cc single-cylinder, air-oil-cooled engine that produces 20.2 BHP of power and 27 Nm of torque, also paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The Hunter 350's larger engine delivers more torque, while the Ronin's smaller engine comes close on power output.

While the power output of the two bikes appears similar on paper, there is a clear difference in engine capacity and torque. Buyers should weigh price, features, engine character, seating position and daily use before deciding, as the two bikes offer different experiences depending on the rider's needs.
