A shocking case has surfaced in Bhor taluka of Pune district. Two minor cousins have allegedly sexually assaulted their 14-year-old minor cousin by force. The girl became pregnant after the assault, and the matter came to light only after she gave birth at Sassoon General Hospital in Pune. The incident has caused widespread anger in Bhor taluka and across the district.

According to information given by the Bhor police, the victim and the accused are cousins. Both cousins live next door to her. They committed the crime in January 2026. They forcibly took the 14-year-old to open scrubland near her house and assaulted her there two to three times.

The girl was terrified after the incident. Out of fear, and because of the accused's threats, she had told no one until now. The consequences of the assault later became apparent and she became pregnant.

A few days ago her health deteriorated and she developed severe abdominal pain. She was admitted to Sassoon General Hospital in Pune for treatment. During examination, medical officers found that she was pregnant and in labour.

Doctors and medical officers at the hospital grew suspicious on seeing a minor girl in labour. They took serious note of it and immediately contacted Bhor police station and passed on all the information.

On receiving the information from Sassoon hospital, an investigation team from Bhor police station reached Pune immediately. Police went to the hospital and recorded a detailed statement from the minor victim. On her complaint, a case has been registered against both minor cousins. Bhor police are investigating the case further.
