A woman was killed and her husband was critically injured in an attack at their home in Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu. The attack is linked to the relationship of their 15-year-old daughter.
According to the information available, the accused, Gnanaprakash, had been in a relationship with the 15-year-old girl. She was a minor, and her parents, worried about her future, were strongly opposed to it. After her family spoke to her, the girl had ended all contact with Gnanaprakash.
