Woman hit in chest by rocket cracker she kicked while lighting it on Dussehra, video goes viral

Firecrackers are usually burst on Diwali, but a girl tried to light them on Dussehra itself, and it backfired on her. A video shared on social media recently shows the girl placing a rocket in a vessel and lighting it.

A rocket firecracker usually shoots up into the sky and bursts beautifully, a sight worth watching. This viral video showed something else. Instead of going up and bursting in the air, the rocket flew straight at the girl standing in front of it and burst there. She was badly burnt.

In the video, the girl is in an open space trying to light a rocket. She stands the rocket in a vessel and sets it alight with a lighter. She then kicks the vessel. As a result, instead of burning upward towards the sky, the rocket darts sideways, towards the girl herself.

The burning rocket hits the girl in the chest so fast that she does not understand what is happening. Before she can do anything or run away, the rocket slams into her.

The incident is widely discussed on social media these days. People have expressed sorrow over the injury to the girl.

The video was shared on Instagram from an account named @komalunplugged01. More than 7 lakh people have liked it, and many users have posted their views.

One user wrote, "The rocket had already fixed the wrong target." Another wrote, "I think the rocket must have liked the girl a lot." Another commented, "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction."
