Warora man attacked with iron rod over old money dispute; case filed against three
Warora police have registered a case against three men after a 32-year-old was beaten with an iron rod near Royal Plaza Hotel on Sunday night over an old financial dealing.
A complaint has been filed at a police station over an attack on a young man in Warora town over an old financial dealing. The incident took place on Sunday night on the road in front of Royal Plaza Hotel. Warora police have registered a case against three people.
The injured man is Bhushan Dnyaneshwar Zile, 32, who lives in the Holtas Sagar Colony area of Warora and does solar maintenance work. According to his complaint, Vishal Gurnule attacked him with an iron rod.
The complaint says that at about 9.40 pm on Sunday, October 4, 2026, Zile was walking home from Anandwan Chowk. When he reached the road in front of Royal Plaza Hotel, three men, his acquaintances Vishal Gurnule and Tushar Gurnule and one unidentified person, confronted him.
According to the complaint, Vishal Gurnule raised the old financial dealing and began arguing with Zile. The argument turned into a fight. The accused then abused him, and Vishal Gurnule attacked Zile with an iron rod, the complaint says.
In the attack, Zile suffered severe injuries to the thigh and calf of his right leg and near the ankle of his left leg. After the incident, he went to Warora police station, narrated what had happened and gave an oral complaint.
On the basis of the complaint, Warora police have registered a case against the accused Vishal Gurnule, Tushar Gurnule and an unidentified accomplice under Sections 118(1) and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. Police Constable Pravin Tirankar is investigating further under the guidance of Police Inspector Omprakash Sontakke. No arrest has been mentioned.
