The X account of former Congress minister and Leader of Opposition Vijay Wadettiwar has been hacked. Following this, he has clearly stated that he has nothing to do with any posts or messages being made from his account.

Wadettiwar is very active on social media and has a large number of followers. He often shares his reactions through his X account, and it has been his usual practice to put across his views on any issue through the platform. But with his account now hacked, he shared the information through a post on Instagram instead, since his X account is no longer in his control.

In his Instagram post, Wadettiwar clearly said that he currently has no connection with any post, message or other activity taking place from his account. He said this in clear terms so that no one would be under the misunderstanding that any such information had been sent by him.

He further said that because the X account has been hacked, anyone could misuse it. He therefore said no one should click on, trust or react to any post, message or link coming from his X account. In other words, he advised that everything coming from the account should be ignored until it is back in his control.

Wadettiwar appealed to people to cooperate until his account is safely back in his possession. He also said the account has not yet been properly recovered, and until then everyone should remain alert and continue to cooperate. He made this appeal specifically to his followers and the general public, so that no one could misuse the hacked account.

Wadettiwar is a well known Congress face and has been active as Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra politics. A former minister in the Congress party, he is seen as having a strong social media presence, which is why he moved quickly to clarify the matter as soon as news of the hacking emerged.
