A video showing a woman and a Rapido driver in a heated argument is going around on social media. The driver alleges that the woman took the ride but did not pay the fare. The video has also led to questions about Rapido's service.

In the video, the woman and a young driver are arguing by the roadside. The driver repeatedly says the woman did not pay the fare. The woman replies that she had already paid online.

The woman reportedly booked a Rapido ride to go to the office in the morning. A dispute over the fare began after the ride ended. The driver says the payment failed and he did not receive the money. The woman says the amount has already been deducted from her account. This led to a big quarrel between the two.

People gathered around. Someone recorded the whole episode on a mobile phone, and it is now circulating on Instagram and Twitter.

The driver says he did not get the money from the company and the woman did not pay cash either, so he suffered a loss. He says it is natural to get angry when you are not paid after a day's hard work. The woman, for her part, said she always pays online. She said the money has left her account and she does not know why the driver cannot see it.

Such incidents are said to happen often on apps such as Rapido, Ola and Uber. Sometimes a network problem makes the payment fail, and sometimes the fare shown on the app differs from the actual amount. People are saying something similar may have happened in this case.

No official information about the video has emerged so far. It has not been confirmed where or in which city it was shot. It is also not known whether a police complaint has been filed. Many fake videos go viral on social media, so it is difficult to say whether this one is genuine or was made only for views. Rapido has not issued any clarification so far.

Viewers have split into two camps. Some side with the driver, saying many people nowadays skip paying fares and it is wrong to cheat a poor driver this way. Others back the woman, saying the problem lies with online payment and asking what she did wrong. They say the company should resolve the issue.

Such incidents reduce people's trust in bike taxi services, and commuters think twice before travelling, the report said.
