Varsha Kanade named NCP city women's president in Risod
Varsha Amar Kanade has been appointed city women's president of the Nationalist Congress Party in Risod.
The women's wing of the Nationalist Congress Party in Risod city has a new leader. Varsha Amar Kanade has been officially appointed city women's president, a decision that has enthused local party workers.
Washim district NCP district president Chandrakantdada Thakre and women's district president Madhavitai Zanak handed the letter of appointment to Varsha Kanade. Several senior office-bearers from the taluka attended the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Chandrakantdada Thakre said he was confident that Varsha Kanade would work with full strength to raise the concerns of women in Risod city and to strengthen the party's women's organisation.
Varsha Kanade now has the responsibility of understanding and resolving the problems of women as well as ordinary citizens in the city. Local office-bearers and workers said her appointment would bring new energy to the party's women's organisation in Risod.
Speaking on the occasion, Varsha Kanade said, "I will discharge the responsibility the party has placed on me with full loyalty and honesty." She said she would work by taking everyone along to understand and resolve the problems of women in the city and to bring women together to strengthen the party's women's organisation further. She said she would continue to work for the interests of women and ordinary citizens in the city in line with the party's ideology.
The appointment ceremony was presided over by Washim district NCP district president Chandrakant Dada Thakre. Also present were women's district president Madhavitai Zanak, district vice president Dr Madhavrao Jadhav, district spokesperson Gajananrao Aru, senior leader Bhagwatrao Gabhane, social justice district president Daulat Ingole, Punjabrao Avchar, senior leader Shinde Mama, former panchayat samiti sabhapati Bandubhau Hade, youth district president Pramod Chaudhary, agricultural industrial institute member Dr Vishal Bhau Somatkar, district women's vice president Jyotitai Katholе, taluka president Tejrao Patil Wankhade, taluka women's president Kiran Tai Badar, city president Gopal Bhau Magar, Jaywantrao Hilode, Shravan Bhau Jamdade, state secretary Altaf Bhai Ghankar and many other office-bearers, workers, and a large number of farmers, farm labourers and workers.
Party office-bearers, women workers and various sections have congratulated Varsha Kanade on her appointment, with expectations that her leadership will give new direction to the women's organisation in Risod city in the coming period.
