In Colors Marathi's 'Aai Tuljabhavani', the goddess's original eight-armed form will appear in the Sunday, November 8 episode, played by actor Urvi Padhye.
Mumbai: The Colors Marathi serial 'Aai Tuljabhavani' has reached a major turn in its story. Mahishasura and his wife Shumbha have taken the Chaturmas pothi by deceit and hatched a new plot to end the rule of dharma.
To erase devotion from people's minds, a false rumour is being spread that Chaturmas has ended. Mallasura, born of a part of Mahishasura, has caused havoc across creation. This ploy of Mallasura, devised by Mahishasura and the demon guru Shukracharya, has now reached a point where Adishakti herself has had to step forward to empower the divine element in order to protect dharma.
During the battle with Tulja in her child form, Mallasura claims that divine power is finished and begins celebrating victory. At that very moment, as guided by Adishakti, Mahadev, Vishnu and Brahmadev hand over their divine parts to the child Tulajai. As soon as the powers of the three gods unite, the grand original divine form of Goddess Tuljabhavani appears from the midst of a fierce storm of fire as the eight-armed Mahashakti.
Set against a backdrop of golden flames, this grand form of the goddess will be a striking visual experience for viewers. Notably, on the auspicious occasion of Deepavali, the divine form will be seen in the episode on Sunday, November 8.
This divine leela, emerging through Adishakti's initiative, is set to begin the decisive phase in the destruction of demonic tendencies. It has been said that every coming episode is worth watching. For devotees of the goddess, these are precious moments of divine experience to be savoured every day. The serial is especially popular these days because of its unusual blend of mythological grandeur and modern AI technology.
Speaking about the new divine form and role, actor Urvi Padhye said, "Every artist dreams of playing a lead role. Getting the role of Maa Tuljabhavani in my very first serial is what I consider the goddess's greatest grace. This is a mythological serial, so special practice, script readings and the guidance of the directors were of great help to me in keeping the weight of the language and the firmness of the voice. While doing mythological study for the character and physical and mental preparation for the battle scenes, I felt pressure at first, but I overcame it and kept learning. When my first entry on the set was being shot, there were chants of 'Maa Raja ki jai jai' all around and flower petals were falling on my body. That moment was extremely emotional, and it gave me a sense of wonderful positive energy."
Urvi further said, "I liked both aspects of Tuljabhavani, her motherly love and her fierce form that fights injustice. My nature is calm by temperament, so playing her fierce form was a different challenge for me. When I saw myself as the goddess on the monitor, my eyes filled with tears and I deeply felt that the goddess is with me. Mahalakshmi of Kolhapur is our kuldevi. I have immense devotion to Maa Mahalakshmi and Maa Tuljabhavani. It is with the goddess's blessings that I have come this far. I have not yet had the chance to go to Tuljapur and have darshan of Maa Tuljabhavani, but I sincerely hope it happens soon. The divine experiences right at the start of the shoot have made my faith and devotion firmer."
