The series 'Crime Patrol', popular with audiences across the country, is now coming to viewers in Marathi. National Award-winning actor Upendra Limaye will host 'Crime Patrol Marathi', which is to begin on Sony Marathi.
The series will start on October 26. It can be watched from Monday to Saturday at 10 pm on Sony Marathi and on Sony LIV. The series will carry a message of awareness, alertness and collective responsibility.
'Crime Patrol Marathi' will come to viewers with the message: "Delete wrong thoughts and make good thoughts viral, because now the responsibility is all of ours!" Through this message, viewers will be urged to be more alert in their daily lives.
The series will underline how important it is to observe with open eyes what is happening around us, to ask questions and to take decisions after thinking. Crimes will be examined through stories based on true events. Viewers will also be made aware of how necessary it is to recognise warning signs and to be cautious when trusting anyone.
Speaking about joining the series, Limaye said, "As an actor, I have seen how much influence stories can have on people's minds. Through 'Crime Patrol Marathi', I will try to encourage viewers to think, to ask questions and to stay alert. Today, anything goes viral in a few moments."
He added, "At such a time, it is just as necessary that messages creating public awareness and good thoughts also reach people. I am happy to carry this message forward with Sony Marathi, because the responsibility of building a safer society rests with each of us."
