Two cars and four bikes to launch in India on October 6, including Skoda Slavia and Honda Elevate facelifts
Six new vehicles will be launched on a single day, with Triumph also set to bring four new motorcycles to the Indian market.
October promises to be an exciting month for the automobile industry, with several new vehicles arriving. Six new vehicles, two cars and four bikes, will be officially launched in the Indian market on October 6. Teasers have already created a buzz in the market, and enthusiasts are showing considerable interest.
The first is the facelifted Skoda Slavia, the company's popular sedan. The company has made several cosmetic changes to the model. The exterior gets a revised front end, new headlights, a connected LED light bar, LED DRLs, stylish alloy wheels and attractive tail lights.
Inside, the car will have a 10.24-inch digital driver display with turn-by-turn navigation, along with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The powertrain is unchanged. As before, it will continue to offer a choice of 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbo petrol engines.
The second car is the facelifted Honda Elevate, the company's popular SUV, which also arrives in its new form on October 6. It gets redesigned headlights, LED DRLs, a new front grille, bumper, attractive alloy wheels and revised tail lights.
The cabin will have modern features including a 10.25-inch infotainment unit, an eight-speaker audio system, a wireless charger, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster and connected car technology. The existing engine has been retained.
Now to the bikes. British motorcycle maker Triumph has recently released a teaser announcing that its four new bikes will be launched on October 6. The Bonneville 400, which has been awaited for a long time, is very likely to be among them.
With a retro-modern look, the bike will compete directly with the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Bullet 350 and Honda CB 350. The company will also bring the Street Triple and two new Tiger models to the market. With these six launches on a single day, the festive season promises to be very interesting for customers.
