Nagpur: A case has come to light in the Pardi police station area in which a woman was allegedly threatened that her affair would be disclosed to her husband, and Rs 3 lakh was allegedly demanded from her. The accused are also alleged to have entered her house and threatened to kill her. On the woman's complaint, Pardi police have arrested two accused.

According to the information available, the complainant is 25 years old. She earlier worked on the catering jobs of the accused, Shekhar Verma. She had left the work, saying that Shekhar's behaviour was not proper. The allegation is that after she quit, Shekhar began to threaten her. On the woman's complaint, Pardi police have registered a case against both accused under serious sections, including attempt to murder, and under the Arms Act. Police have arrested both. These are all allegations made in the complaint, and police are investigating further.
