Mumbai, October 19, 2026: Transrail Lighting Limited said today that it has received new orders worth Rs 412 crore in its core transmission and distribution business. The company is a leading engineering, procurement and construction company in the transmission and distribution sector.
With these new orders, the total value of orders received by the company in the current year has reached Rs 2,021 crore. In addition, L1 orders worth a total of Rs 409 crore are in process with the company.
Most of the orders received are for projects in the domestic market, involving reconductoring of transmission lines with HTLS conductors. These orders are separate from those the company announced a few days ago. According to the company, the orders will help it execute a new kind of project, in which the high-performance carbon-core HTLS conductors made in-house are used to increase the power-carrying capacity of transmission lines.
The company said its production capacity has grown. Its tower capacity is 1,84,400 MTPA and its conductor capacity is 40,800 KMPA. The outlook for the T&D sector in the domestic and overseas markets is also good. On the strength of these two factors, the company is ready to achieve profitable growth.
Randeep Narang, Managing Director and CEO of the company, said: "I am very happy to announce the receipt of new orders worth Rs 412 crore. This will further add to our order book and strengthen our position as a leading company in the integrated T&D sector. With these orders, we are expanding our presence in the domestic market in transmission line reconductoring projects using our own high-performance carbon-core HTLS conductors."
Narang further said: "We are encouraged by the support the government has given the sector by approving the third phase of the Green Energy Corridor. This will further strengthen India's power infrastructure to support the distribution of 900 GW of non-fossil fuel based energy. Backed by such a favourable industry environment and our increased production capacity for towers and conductors, we are fully prepared to sustain our continued growth and create lasting value."
