TMKOC live quiz winners named, invited to Gokuldham set

Sony SAB and Neela Film Productions have successfully completed an 18-day live quiz held to mark the 18th anniversary of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC), considered the country's longest-running and most popular family entertainment show.

The quiz ran from August 1 to August 21, with lakhs of viewers from across the country taking part. It gave fans a chance to celebrate their favourite show, its characters and the world of Gokuldham Society.

The announcement of winners is still ongoing. So far, Dr Vineet Kumar, Dr Mahalakshmi Iyer, Khushbu Amit Thakkar and Pragya Sanjay Ganatra, all from Mumbai, have been declared winners along with their families.

The quiz was hosted live on the TMKOC Clubhouse app, the show's official digital partner app. Through the app, fans across the country got a chance to test their knowledge of Gokuldham Society and its residents in real time. Besides the quiz, the app regularly rewards fans through mini-game tournaments based on their favourite TMKOC characters, adding a new interactive dimension to the TMKOC world.

As per the quiz terms, Dr Vineet Kumar, Dr Mahalakshmi Iyer, Khushbu Amit Thakkar, Pragya Sanjay Ganatra and their families will get a special opportunity to visit the famous Gokuldham Society set, watch the shooting of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah up close and celebrate the show's 18th anniversary with the cast. The entire experience is being organised jointly by Sony SAB and Neela Film Productions. In all, more than 18 winning families will be given this opportunity.

Show creator and producer Asit Kumar Modi expressed happiness over this, saying the love shown by viewers for the quiz has been tremendous. He said that over 18 days, families across the country celebrated the 18th anniversary with them, and that this is the biggest reward for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He said this strengthens the belief that the show has truly become part of every Indian household. Modi said that seeing the level of participation, he expanded his earlier plan and decided to invite more than 18 families to Gokuldham Society.

Sony SAB's Chief Content Officer Ajay Bhalwankar said Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has built a special bond with viewers over the years, and the response to the quiz is proof of that bond. He said it was heartening to see families come together to celebrate TMKOC's 18 years. He said that to mark the occasion, Sony SAB is giving viewers a chance to go beyond just watching the show and actually experience Gokuldham Society themselves.

Quiz results are being announced daily, and viewers have been asked to keep watching Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on Sony SAB to find out who the winners are. The complete list of winners will be shared on the TMKOC Clubhouse app in the coming days. The Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah team will personally contact all winners for further formalities.
