Three Class 10 students have gone missing from the hostel of Sindphana Public School at Phule Pimpalgaon, near Majalgaon town in Beed district. The school is run by Nationalist Congress Party MLA Prakash Solanke. The incident came to light during roll call after dinner and has caused alarm in educational circles and across the area.

According to the information available, the hostel superintendent took attendance after dinner on Tuesday night and found that the three were not in their room. The hostel management immediately began a search of the campus and surrounding areas, but there was no trace of the students.

One of the missing students is from Pathri, another from Nitrud and the third from Ashti. All three are minors, so their names are not being published.

News of the disappearance spread quickly, and relatives rushed to the hostel and the police station. Women guardians broke down in tears at Majalgaon police station on learning that their children were missing. It is still not clear when, how and by which route the students left the hostel despite its security.

A missing-persons report on the three has been registered at Majalgaon police station. Police are investigating the case seriously. The hostel principal and staff are being questioned, and CCTV footage is being examined.

The sudden disappearance of three minors in the crucial Class 10 year has left parents anxious. Police now face the challenge of tracing the three as early as possible.
