The third match of the T20 series between India and West Indies is to be played at Holkar Stadium in Indore today. Both teams have won one match each so far, so the series is level. The match is therefore seen as very important for both sides.

All eyes are on Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The explosive young batter has been picked in the squad for the series but has not yet got a chance to play in any match. He had to sit out the first match. It was expected that he would find a place in the playing XI for the second match.

However, the picture changed after Sanju Samson's blistering innings in the second T20. Samson had been struggling for form, and the second T20 was his last chance to keep his place in the side. He played a stunning knock of 82 runs off 41 balls, which helped the team post a big score. After this performance, Samson's place in the playing XI is considered certain, and for that reason Suryavanshi is unlikely to play.

Besides Suryavanshi, a few other players may also have to sit out. Kuldeep Yadav has performed well in the last two matches and, in the absence of Varun Chakravarthy, is India's main spinner. In that case, Ravi Bishnoi could be left out of the playing XI. He may be benched today.

In pace bowling, the team management gave young fast bowler Mayank Yadav a chance ahead of Prince Yadav, and he has not disappointed in the last two matches. Prince may therefore have to wait for his opportunity.

Naman Dhir has got a chance to play in the last two matches. However, the Indore ground is small and the pitch is helpful for batters. Considering this, Nitish Kumar Reddy could be played in place of Naman.

India's probable playing XI is: Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer (captain), Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh and Mayank Yadav.
