Tata Motors launches Sierra Dark range, priced from Rs 13.99 lakh

Tata Motors has announced the launch of a new Dark version of its premium mid-SUV Sierra. The company has named it the Tata Sierra Dark range. The range will be available at a starting price of Rs 13.99 lakh. Tata Motors describes itself as India's leading SUV maker.

The range comes with a special Frozen Black exterior. Inside, the cabin theme is Premium Violet Eclipse, and the vehicle also has purple chrome detailing. The Sierra's comfortable driving experience has been kept the same, but the new range has been given a distinct identity.

According to the company, the Sierra has played a role in building the premium mid-SUV segment in India. With the Dark name, the vehicle has been presented in a more premium and distinctive style than before. The Sierra's signature look and its strong road presence remain. It also carries forward the legacy of Tata Motors' well-known Dark range. With its bold design, distinct personality and exclusive styling, the Dark range has built a separate identity among customers.

At the launch, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, said: "The Dark range has become one of the most popular variants in our portfolio. The all-black look of the Sierra Dark has been designed for customers who like to stand out and value style. The look accentuates the SUV's strong design, sturdy build and road presence. Inside, the premium black leatherette cabin offers a comfortable, lounge-like experience. Purple chrome accents have been added to the all-black design. These details set the Sierra Dark apart from an ordinary black SUV.

The Sierra Dark will be offered in the recently launched Sierra Legend series. The dark design is available in the Pure L, Pure L (O), Pure + L and Adventure + L variants. It will also be available in the top-of-the-line Accomplished and Accomplished + variants. With its distinctive design and the Sierra's best features, the Dark edition gives India's popular premium mid-SUV a more attractive and premium look.
