Tadali workers' union gives Rs 84,300 to family of deceased worker in Chandrapur
The Sponge Iron Workers' Union at Tadali MIDC in Chandrapur handed a cheque of Rs 84,300 to the family of a worker who died.
Chandrapur: The Sponge Iron Workers' Union at Tadali MIDC gave financial assistance to the family of a worker who died. Under the Tadali workers' union's relief initiative, a cheque for Rs 84,300 was handed to the family. The initiative was carried out by the Sponge Iron Workers' Union at Tadali MIDC itself.
Bhanudas Maroti Ukinkar, a worker at Gopani, had died. He was a resident of Sonegaon. The union provided the assistance so that his family would have financial support. The family of the deceased worker was thus helped with a cheque.
The initiative was carried out under the guidance of union president Dinesh Chokhare. A worker is not just a part of the industrial system but the mainstay of his family. When a worker dies, grief engulfs his family. Keeping this in mind, the union gave financial assistance to the family of the deceased worker.
Besides fighting for workers' rights, the Tadali MIDC Sponge Iron Workers' Union has been consistently trying to share in their joys and sorrows, support them in times of crisis and extend a helping hand to their families. The initiative reflected the unity, mutual cooperation and social commitment within the union.
Present on the occasion were president Dinesh Chokhare, vice-president Mohan Waghmare, general secretary Santosh Bandurkar, working president Tulshiram Derkar, treasurer Sadashiv Chatur and joint treasurer Dashrath Roge. Vijay More, Nandu Tonge, Sagar Kannirwar, Vikas Aware, Santosh Khobragade and Mahesh Junghare were also present. Other office-bearers of the union and a large number of workers also attended the event.
The initiative once again brought out the social commitment of the Tadali MIDC Sponge Iron Workers' Union, which stands by workers in their joys and sorrows and supports their families.
