The third T20 between India and New Zealand is being played today. India won the toss and chose to bowl first, so New Zealand batted first and set India a target of 199 to win.

Daryl Mitchell played the biggest innings for New Zealand. He scored 89 and took the team to a big total. The match is important for both sides. If India win today, the series will also be theirs. If New Zealand win, the remaining two matches will be closely contested.

Phil Allen and Tim Seifert opened the innings for New Zealand. Allen made 40, while Seifert scored 2. Mitchell then hit a fine half-century and steadied the innings. Glenn Phillips also made a useful 17.

India's bowling was somewhat flat in the match. The team managed only three New Zealand wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar conceded 40 runs in his four overs without taking a wicket. He went wicketless in the third match as well, and attention now turns to whether he will get another chance.

Arshdeep Singh took one wicket, but gave away 33 runs for it. Axar Patel and Nitish Kumar Reddy also took one wicket each.

The Indian squad includes Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Shreyas Iyer (captain), Tilak Varma, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Naman Dhir, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Prince Yadav, Shivam Dube, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Kumar Kushagra and Mayank Yadav.

The New Zealand squad includes Tim Seifert (wicketkeeper), Finn Allen, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, Bevon Jacobs, Michael Bracewell, Mitchell Santner (captain), Nathan Smith, Jacob Duffy, Kyle Jamieson, Adam Milne, Blair Tickner, Matthew Fisher and Devon Conway.
