A case of rash driving has come to light from the Kalamna police station area of Nagpur, in which a four-year-old boy was seriously injured. The accident took place at Shikshak Colony on Bharatwada Road, where the boy, Shivansh Sachin Deshmukh, was playing outside his own house when he was hit by a car.

According to police, the accident occurred around 4 am on September 23. Shivansh was playing outside his house when a woman allegedly drove a car at high speed and rashly through the area and hit the child. Police said the car that hit him was being driven by a woman.

The impact was so strong that Shivansh fell on the road and suffered serious injuries to his head and other parts of his body. The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed in the area, clearly showing the moment of the collision and what followed.

Immediately after the accident, the injured boy was admitted to Bhavani Hospital for treatment. It is alleged that after the child was taken to the hospital, the woman driving the car left the spot in her car and did not stop.

Angered by the incident, the boy's father, Sachin Haribhau Deshmukh, went to the Kalamna police station along with the local corporator and some other residents. They staged a protest there demanding strict action against the accused woman, which led to a tense atmosphere at the police station for a while.

Based on the family's complaint, Kalamna police have registered a case against the woman driver under the relevant sections. Police have seized the car used in the incident and are investigating the matter further.
