Royal Enfield launches new Parachute White colour for Flying Flea C6 in India
The Parachute White option is the third colour choice for Royal Enfield's first electric motorcycle after Flea Green and Storm Black.
Royal Enfield has launched a new colour option in India for its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6. The new colour is called Parachute White, and it is the third colour option for the bike. Previously, the bike was available in two colours, Flea Green and Storm Black.
The Parachute White colour features a raised white finish along with some black sections and blue accents. This combination gives the bike a distinct and striking look. The current C6's ex-showroom Bengaluru price is Rs 2.79 lakh, but the company has not yet revealed a separate price for the Parachute White version.
In terms of design, the bike clearly reflects Royal Enfield's lightweight Flying Flea motorcycle from the 1940s. It features an exposed forged aluminium exoskeleton, a magnesium battery cover, a circular display and a distinctive Girder front suspension design. The frame, built without welding, and a compact rear section are also design highlights. The design has also won a Red Dot Design Award.
The Flying Flea C6 weighs 124 kg. It measures 2,089 mm in length, 831 mm in width and 1,122 mm in height. The wheelbase is 1,366 mm, seat height is 823 mm and ground clearance is 207 mm. It gets 19-inch cast alloy wheels on both ends. The bike has a 3.91 kWh battery, and the company claims an IDC range of 154 km.
On power, the C6 uses a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor producing 15.4 kW peak power and 60 Nm of torque. The bike's top speed is 115 kmph. There is no need to carry a separate charging brick, as it can be charged directly from a 16A socket. Charging from 20 to 80 percent takes about 65 minutes.
On features, it gets a 3.5-inch circular TFT touchscreen, Fleaware OS, keyless entry, navigation, cruise control, location sharing and 5 riding modes. It also offers 27W USB-C and 15W wireless charging. For safety, it comes with dual-channel ABS, traction control and a lean-sensitive electronic system.
