Realme C100i launches with 6500mAh battery, military-grade certification
Realme has launched the budget C100i in India with a large battery and rugged build.
While iPhones continue to draw a crowd of buyers willing to spend lakhs of rupees, Realme has officially launched a new budget phone in India meant for everyday use.
The phone, called the Realme C100i, comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, priced at Rs 14,999 on Flipkart. It has a 6500mAh battery that can typically last two to three days, along with 15W fast charging and reverse wired charging for backup.
The phone has received MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification. Its rugged ArmorShell design allows it to survive drops from a height of 2 metres. It also carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.
The display is a 6.75-inch HD LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone runs on Android 16 with Realme UI 6.0 on top.
For the camera, the phone has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. As mentioned, it has 15W fast charging with reverse wired charging support for backup.
The Realme C100i is available in two colours, Midnight Black and Skyline Silver. It is also said to offer good 5G connectivity and gaming performance. With a large battery, a good display and a decent camera at a low price, the phone could be a good option for budget buyers.
