Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Raj Thackeray on Thursday posted a controversial documentary on his official X account. The documentary is based on the relationship between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and industrialist Gautam Adani. It has stirred the country's politics.

A day earlier, Thackeray had held a press conference, at which he claimed that a major event could take place in the country in the next four to five months. The day after the press conference, he shared the documentary. He is once again launching a strong attack on Prime Minister Modi, Gautam Adani and the Union government.

According to reports, Mumbai Police have sent notices to several X users asking them to remove the documentary.

In his post, Thackeray wrote in Marathi that the government wants to make the documentary disappear from social media. In his words, you will understand the reason once you watch it, so watch it before the government makes it disappear.

The documentary claims that Prime Minister Narendra Modi repeatedly helped Gautam Adani advance in business and drew political benefit from it. According to the documentary, Modi used Adani's help for his own political ends and in return benefited Adani's business. These are claims made by the documentary.

Thackeray has taken an aggressive stand against the government continuously since the 'Cockroach Janta Party' campaign. His main focus is on drawing in young people and first-time voters and building public sentiment against the government. Earlier this month, he also led a large protest march demanding the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
