October 2026 is set to be a busy month for the Indian auto market. Launch dates for some Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Volvo cars have been confirmed, while some models from Renault, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen, Hyundai, VinFast and Skoda are also expected this month. This could give customers several new options together during the festive season.

The facelifted Mercedes-Maybach S-Class will arrive on October 5, featuring a larger illuminated grille, new headlamps and star-shaped daytime running lights. The Volvo EX90 and ES90 will follow on October 12. The EX90 will get a 106 kWh battery, dual-motor all-wheel drive and, according to the company, a range of up to 625 km. The ES90 will feature an 800V architecture and DC charging capacity of up to 350 kW.

The new-generation Audi Q3 will launch on October 16. The SUV, which will be assembled in India, is expected to get a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing around 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DCT and Quattro all-wheel drive. The following day, October 17, the new Renault Duster's hybrid version is set to launch, with a 1.8-litre petrol engine and two electric motors together producing 160 hp.

The facelifted Honda Elevate could see changes to its exterior design as well as its cabin, including features such as ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera and a 10.25-inch touchscreen. The Hyundai Bayon will get its global unveiling on October 12, with bookings reportedly set to open in India as well. The facelifted Toyota Glanza is also expected to get style and feature updates.

Also on October's list are the VinFast VF3, a facelifted Volkswagen Virtus and a facelifted Skoda Slavia. The VF3 will be a small electric SUV, while the Virtus could get new features and an updated cabin. Production of the Skoda Slavia has already begun, and it is reportedly set to get an 8-speed automatic option as well. October is set to bring customers a large batch of new car launches.
