Nagpur: Man arrested for molesting young woman after luring her with promise of noodles
Police in Wathoda have arrested Pradeep Choudhary on the complaint of the mother of an 18-year-old woman who is undergoing treatment for a mental illness.
Nagpur: A young woman was taken on a motorcycle and molested in Wathoda on the pretext of being treated to noodles. Police have arrested the accused, Pradeep Choudhary.
The complainant's 18-year-old daughter is undergoing treatment for a mental illness. The accused worked for a family living in the complainant's neighbourhood, because of which the young woman knew him.
It is alleged that on the morning of September 27, the accused asked the young woman to sit on his two-wheeler, saying he would treat her to noodles, and took her to a road in front of a medical store in the neighbourhood. There, the accused molested her. After the incident, the young woman told her family.
Wathoda police have registered a case and arrested the accused.
