Nissan waives CNG retrofit cost on Magnite and Gravite till November 16

Nissan Motor India has announced a festive-season offer on two of its cars, the Magnite and the Gravite. Under it, the company will waive the cost of CNG retrofitment on select variants. The benefit is Rs 74,999 on the Magnite and Rs 85,999 on the Gravite. The offer is valid till November 16, 2026.

For customers who want a CNG option along with petrol, it is a chance to save on the cost of the car. The offer does not cover all variants; only select variants get the CNG kit benefit.

On the Magnite, the offer applies to select non-turbo variants. The Visia MT, Visia EZ-Shift and Visia + MT variants will not get the benefit. On the Gravite, a benefit of Rs 85,999 is being given for the Tekna variant. The Magnite's retrofitment price includes the kit, cylinder installation, CNG gas, RTO and insurance endorsement, and the cost of a third-party warranty.

The Gravite has a twin-cylinder CNG setup, with two cylinders of 25 litres each. This design retains the car's 7-seat layout. Having two cylinders in place of the single large cylinder usually fitted also makes the rear space easier to use. The CNG kit for the Gravite was launched in May 2026 at Rs 82,999. Its listed price is now Rs 85,999.

The CNG retrofitment system for both cars has been developed by Motozen. The company also handles its production and quality checks. The Gravite's system is built to BS6.2 norms and is ICAT-certified. It has cylinders of 8.1 mm thickness and Dynamic Advancer technology. The CNG filler is placed under the car's fuel lid, and the driver can switch between petrol and CNG modes.

The CNG kits on both models carry a third-party warranty of 3 years or 1,00,000 km. This is in addition to the car's standard warranty. The Gravite's CNG kit can be fitted at Nissan dealers in 60 cities across 16 states.

On prices, the Magnite currently starts at Rs 5.69 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Gravite is priced at Rs 5.73 lakh.
