Delivery riders in Nagpur have voiced anger against Zepto's management. They allege that after they demanded higher incentives, the management raised their order targets to harass them. They also say the IDs of some riders were terminated without any reason.
Riders at the Zepto store in Garoba Maidan have filed a complaint at Nandanvan police station through the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).
The riders allege that the company's policies are causing them financial and work-related problems. An application with their demands was submitted to the management on October 5, 2026, but no satisfactory reply has been received so far. They ask why their demands are not being heard when employees are approaching the management with their problems.
The riders allege that the IDs of some employees were terminated without any reason being given. They say pressure is being put on them to complete as many orders as possible in a short time, and that there has been no response to their demand for higher incentives. They ask how their financial condition will improve amid rising targets and work pressure.
The riders lodged the complaint with Nandanvan police through MNS functionary Umesh Utkhede. Police have contacted the Zepto management.
