Nagpur Police road safety drives nominated for SKOCH Award 2026
Operation U-Turn and Operation Safe Roads have been nominated, and police have appealed to citizens to vote for the project.
Nagpur: 'Operation U-Turn' and 'Operation Safe Roads', the road safety campaigns run by Nagpur City Police and the Highway Traffic Police, Nagpur, have been nominated for the SKOCH Award 2026.
The campaigns aim to reduce road accidents and ensure the safety of citizens. According to police, they have helped save more than 400 lives since 2025.
The voting round for the project has now begun. Nagpur Police are appealing to citizens to support the initiative and vote for the project.
The voting process will be explained to citizens through screen sharing, so that as many people as possible can back the road safety campaign.
National recognition for these efforts is expected to give Nagpur's road safety campaigns a new direction and encouragement.
