Meta One brings WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook premium features into one plan

Meta has launched its new all-in-one subscription plan, Meta One, in India and worldwide. The service aims to bring together several features of WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Meta AI under a single subscription, so users do not have to pay separately for each app.

Meta One offers two plans, Core and Premium, for regular users and those who use AI heavily. For people running businesses or working as content creators, there are four separate options: Essential, Advanced, Expert and Max.

In India, the Meta One Core plan is priced at Rs 549 a month, while the Premium plan costs Rs 1,960 a month. Both plans combine the features of Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus, and also raise the usage limits for certain Meta AI features.

According to Meta, the Core plan allows greater use of creative tools such as Restyle and Voice Effects for Instagram Stories, along with the ability to generate more images and videos using Meta AI. The Premium plan includes everything in Core, plus higher limits for creating content using AI and across Meta's apps.

Among the four bundled plans for businesses and creators, the Essential plan is priced at Rs 639 a month in India. The Advanced plan costs Rs 2,099, the Expert plan Rs 6,399, and the most expensive, the Max plan, Rs 20,990 a month.

Essential plan subscribers get tools to manage their business online and greater use of the Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp. Once verification is complete, they also get a Verified Badge, a Verified Channel on the WhatsApp Business app, and Impersonation Protection.

The Advanced plan includes several professional-level publishing and analytics tools. These include the ability to schedule Stories up to 30 days in advance, the option to add links in organic posts and Reels, exportable analytics and deeper audience insights. This plan also allows giving team members account access without sharing passwords, more linked devices, and WhatsApp Business broadcast credits.

Expert and Max are the two top-tier bundles under Meta One. Teams running large-scale businesses get greater Meta Business Agent capacity and access to the widest range of Meta One features under these two plans.

The key feature of the service is that the earlier separate offerings of WhatsApp Plus, Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus have now been brought together under the Core and Premium bundles. Meta says Meta One includes more than 50 features and that the service will be expanded gradually. It has also clarified that basic use of Meta's apps and a basic Meta AI experience will remain free, with greater AI usage, extra creative features and business tools available only with a paid subscription.
