Man assaults, harasses woman on street after she ends relationship
A 27-year-old man allegedly beat and harassed a woman near IT Park after she broke off their relationship over his suspicious behaviour

A young man, distressed after a woman ended their relationship, allegedly assaulted and harassed her on the street. The incident took place near IT Park under the jurisdiction of Pratap Nagar police station. The accused is 27-year-old Athang Korde.
Athang had become friends with the victim, who is of the same age, at a gym. After some time, Athang began suspecting her. Distressed by his behaviour, the woman ended the relationship with him. She also asked him not to call her. Despite this, Athang continued calling her, so she blocked his mobile number.
On September 18, Athang stopped the woman near IT Park. He allegedly hurled abuses at her and beat her, harassed her, and then fled. The woman filed a complaint at Pratap Nagar police station. Pratap Nagar police have registered a case of harassment and assault.
