Major Administrative Reshuffle in UP: 34 IAS Officers Transferred, District Magistrates Changed
In a major bureaucratic shake-up late Monday night, the Uttar Pradesh government ordered the large-scale transfer of 34 IAS officers, bringing sweeping changes to administrative setups and key departments across the state.
Under this recent reshuffle, responsibilities for DMs in various districts and high-ranking officials across several departments have been altered. Hardoi District Magistrate Anunay Jha has been appointed as the new District Magistrate of Moradabad, while Rahul Pandey, who served as Special Secretary in the State Tax Department, has been appointed as the new District Magistrate of Hardoi.
Additionally, Agra Development Authority Vice-Chairman M. Arunmouli has been given the responsibility of District Magistrate of Etah. Sanjay Chauhan, formerly the District Magistrate of Amethi, has been made the District Magistrate of Kushinagar. Kushinagar District Magistrate Mahendra Singh Tanwar has been posted to the position of District Magistrate of Kanpur Nagar. Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority Chief Executive Officer Anuj Malik has been appointed as the new District Magistrate of Sant Kabir Nagar, while Sant Kabir Nagar DM Alok Kumar has been transferred to the post of District Magistrate of Pilibhit. Furthermore, Pilibhit District Magistrate Gyanendra Singh has been appointed as the new District Magistrate of Ballia.
