Mahindra's popular compact SUV XUV 3XO has hit a major milestone in the Indian market. Less than two and a half years after its launch in 2024, the vehicle has sold more than 2.5 lakh units. According to Mahindra, the XUV 3XO is the fastest model in the company's entire SUV portfolio to reach this figure. The company says strong design, premium features, multiple engine options and an emphasis on safety have driven the positive customer response.
The XUV 3XO has steadily strengthened its market position since launch. With sales now crossing 2.5 lakh units, it has become one of Mahindra's most important models. The company recently updated the XUV 3XO range by adding two new variants, REVX EDGE and REVX EDGE (O). These new variants will give customers more feature and powertrain choices across different price points, suggesting the company plans to expand the XUV 3XO lineup further.
The new REVX EDGE series aims to offer premium features at an affordable price. The REVX EDGE has a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 9.39 lakh, while the REVX EDGE (O) starts at Rs 9.89 lakh. The REVX EDGE comes with features such as leatherette seats, a 26.03 cm HD infotainment screen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control and a rear-view camera. The REVX EDGE (O) additionally gets a panoramic sunroof, roof rails, electrically folding ORVMs, push-button start and automatic headlamps.
On the engine front, the XUV 3XO is offered with both petrol and diesel options. The new REVX EDGE range comes with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine, with manual, automatic and AMT transmission choices. Mahindra has also launched a petrol automatic variant of the REVX M(O) priced at Rs 9.99 lakh. The company says the entire XUV 3XO range comes with safety features such as six airbags, electronic stability control, ISOFIX and reverse parking sensors. With 2.5 lakh units sold and the addition of new variants, the XUV 3XO has further strengthened its position in the market.
