Mahavitaran has set up special service desks in every taluka of Chandrapur and Gadchiroli districts. The move is part of the Mahavitaran Seva Setu campaign, run in line with the Maharashtra government's state festival concept, and will continue till October 17.

A separate nodal officer has been appointed in every taluka to give information on solar schemes. Citizens can file their online applications on the spot at these service desks. Mahavitaran has appealed to eligible citizens to make use of this opportunity.

Special service desks have also been opened at every Mahavitaran sub-division, and the "Seva Setu and Seva Sankalp" campaign will continue till October 17. A separate nodal officer has been appointed in every taluka for this, who will provide information on solar schemes.

Under the Smart Solar scheme, a 1 kilowatt capacity solar unit is being provided for power consumers whose average monthly electricity consumption is up to 100 units. Consumers whose electricity consumption is up to 30 units and who fall in the economically weaker (BPL) category will be charged only Rs 2,500. Consumers from the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories will be charged only Rs 5,000, while consumers from Other Backward Classes and the general category will be charged Rs 10,000.

Under the Smart scheme, a total of five consumers in the Warora division have availed of this benefit so far. Special service desks have been started at every taluka and Mahavitaran sub-division in Chandrapur-Gadchiroli districts under the Seva Sankalp campaign. Guidance is being given at these desks on the PM Surya Ghar free electricity scheme, the Swayampurna Maharashtra Rooftop Solar (SMART) scheme, the Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump scheme and the Chief Minister's Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana 2.0. This includes filing online applications on the spot, explaining the financial benefits of the schemes and the entire process of installing a solar set.

Mahavitaran has appealed to citizens to gather information and register during this Seva Setu campaign, which runs from September 17 to October 17. Applications with any shortcomings are being completed and action is being taken immediately on pending applications. Mahavitaran has appealed to eligible beneficiaries to avail of this scheme.
